Ho Chi Minh City builds more modern hospitals

With a total investment of over VND5.8 trillion, Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital 2 (Tan Phu Ward, Thu Duc City) was put into full use from the end of January 2023, contributing to easing crowding at the Oncology Hospital 1 (Binh Thanh district).
It provides 1,000 sick-beds of international standard, with a helipad on the rooftop. 
 The radiation treatment facility is more than 1,000 square meters. The whole area has 2 simulation CT systems, 6 most advanced accelerated radiotherapy systems.
The new construction project of Thu Duc Regional General Hospital has a total investment of VND1.915 trillion and is expected to be put into use by the end of 2023. 
The new construction project of Hoc Mon General Hospital has a total investment of VND1.895 trillion. 
Ho Chi Minh City only has 3 places equipped with mammograms for breast cancer screening, namely Cho Ray Hospital, Military Hospital 175 and Ho Chi Minh City Oncology Hospital. 
People's Hospital 115 has just put into use the high-tech Diagnostic and Treatment Area, equipped with modern technology. The tunnel is 6 meters deep, 64.7 meters long, 5 meters wide, allowing 4 stretchers or 2 trams carrying patients to move at the same time. 
A patient is treated at the Emergency Resuscitation - Anti-poison Department, Nguyen Trai Hospital with modern equipment.
