Honoring Vietnam – Laos special relationship

(CPV) - The special art performance reviewing the multiple choice contest on the history of the Vietnam – Laos, Laos - Vietnam special relationship 2022 is an important highlight in the "Vietnam-Laos, Laos-Vietnam Solidarity and Friendship Year 2022" to mark the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Laos and the 45th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam-Laos Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.

In the evening of December 12, the Party Central Committee (PCC) Commission of Popularization and Education held a special art performance in Hanoi to review the multiple  choice contest on the history of the Vietnam – Laos, Laos - Vietnam special relationship 2022. The program was broadcast live on Channel 7 of the Vietnamese National Assembly Television and diverse central and local televisions.

The event drew the participation of Mr. Pham Binh Minh, Politburo member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the PCC, Head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education; Lai Xuan Mon, member of the PCC, Standing Deputy Head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education; and Le Hai Binh, Alternate member of the PCC, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education.

It also drew the participation of representatives from the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, including Khamphanh Pheuyavong, Secretary of Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Training; deputy head of the LPRP Central Committee’s Commission of Popularization and Training Vilavon Phanthvong; Laos Ambassador to Vietnam Sengphet Houngboungnuang; and comrades in the high-ranking delegation of the LPRP Central Committee Commission of Popularization and Training who are paying a working visit to Vietnam.

Winners of the contest; Vietnamese and Lao students; and trainees of a number of universities and academies in Hanoi, along with a large number of people in Hanoi, also attended the event.

Performances at the special art program "Vietnam-Laos Love" praise the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
