On August 18, residents and tourists were once again treated to a stunning performance by the Mounted Police Unit, featuring 40 horses in the center of District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
This event was organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security in collaboration with the Mobile Police Command of the Ministry of Public Security to commemorate the 55th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's Will (1969 - 2024), the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 – 2024), the 79th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - 2024), and the 19th All-People's Day for National Defense (August 19, 2005 - 2024).
The Mounted Police Unit, with dozens of horses, paraded in rows along Le Loi Street in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The horses were equipped with masks, body armor, and protection for their legs and knees to ensure safety during the parade.
The mobile police officers performed a variety of impressive skills such as riding with both hands free, leaning to pick up objects from the ground, and jumping over obstacles, delighting the audience. One of the highlights was a display where the officers rode horses while firing rifles.
In a thrilling performance the horses jumped through rings of fire. This unique spectacle captured the attention of many locals and tourists, with some expressing their excitement at seeing the Mounted Police Unit perform with horses in Ho Chi Minh City for the first time.

The ceremonial band also performed famous musical pieces such as "Hat mai khuc quan hanh" (Forever Singing the Marching Song) and "Dat nuoc tron niem vui" (The Country's Complete Joy), adding to the lively atmosphere of the weekend and drawing the attention of passersby.
