Russian President Vladimir Putin visits Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum

On June 20, within the framework of his official visit to Vietnam, Russian President Vladimir Putin laid a wreath and visited President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the Monument of Fallen Soldiers and Heroes on Bac Son Street, Hanoi.

In an article published in Nhan Dan newspaper before the visit, President Putin affirmed that Ho Chi Minh, a great son of the Vietnamese people and a great friend of our country, is the originator of bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Russia. 
Earlier, President Putin lays a wreath at the Memorial of Fallen Soldiers and Heroes on Bac Son Street, Hanoi.
This was the 5th time Russian President Vladimir Putin has visited Vietnam. Previously, he visited Vietnam in 2001, 2006 and 2013. In 2017, the Russian President came to Da Nang to attend the 2017 APEC Summit and other activities within the framework of theAPEC 2017 Summit.
