Sung Sot Cave - a magical wonder

(CPV) - Sung Sot Cave is the largest and most beautiful cave in Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Province, with shimmering and fanciful stalactites in countless strange and unique shapes.

| Sung Sot Cave is located on Bo Hon Island, in the core area of Ha Long Bay. |

| In 1901, the French discovered this place and named the cave "Grotte de la surprise" - the cave of surprise. |

| To get to the cave entrance, visitors must follow the waterway to Bo Hon Island. |

| The cave has an area of nearly 12,200 square meters and rises about 30 meters high. |

| Along the stone path about 800m long, the beauty of Sung Sot Cave is fanciful and full of charm for every visitor. |

| Discovered in 1901, in 1993 Sung Sot Cave officially welcomed the first tourists and has become an attractive destination of Ha Long tourism. |

| Among the outstanding natural artifacts is the horse-shaped stone block, the long sword of Saint Giong, the small ponds and lakes in the cave - the legend of the horse footprints of Saint Giong. Along with that is the "royal garden" area with a clear lake, all kinds of plants and many animals and birds. |

| In the journey to discover Sung Sot Cave, visitors also easily visit other tourist attractions of Ha Long such as Soi Sim Island, Ti Top Island, Bo Nau Cave, Ho Dong Tien Cave, Luon Cave, Trong Cave, Trinh Nu Cave and Me Cung Cave. |
