The organizing board said that the mid-Autumn Festival this year was organized to raise awareness and responsibility for the protection and care of children in general and overseas Vietnamese children in particular. At the same time, it also created a healthy, useful playground and helped the children understand more about the traditional beauty of the Vietnamese people through lion dance, lantern procession and art performance.

On this occasion, overseas Vietnamese children and students from Nguyen Du Vietnamese - Lao Bilingual School also received many gifts, including books, moon cakes and fruits, from donors in Vientiane.

On the same day, a mid-Autumn Festival was also organized at Phat Tich Pagoda in Vientiane for overseas Vietnamese children./.
