The fight was organized thanked to efforts by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Vietnamese Embassy in France, in collaboration with national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines and relevant French agencies.

Most of passengers are elderly, people who suffer from underlying health issues, international students without accommodation, and those under 18.

They underwent thorough medical examination procedures before being transferred to a concentrated isolation facility in line with the regulations set out by the Ministry of Health.

In the context of France blockade due to COVID-19 pandemic, the Vietnamese Embassy in France has been striving to work together with the Vietnamese community in the nation. Joint efforts have helped to develop technological solutions as a way of dealing with the requests of citizens, facilitating their travel to the airport, in addition to providing them with essential items.

On the fight to France on May 5th, Vietnam Airlines also carried a large donation of medical equipment and supplies from the Vietnamese government and people to their French counterparts./.
