More than 350 Vietnamese citizens were brought home safely on a flight of national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on September 7.

The repatriation flight was arranged by Vietnamese authorities, the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, Vietnam Airlines and relevant Japanese agencies.
The passengers included children under 18 years old, pregnant women, the sick, students without accommodations, workers with expired labour contracts, and those facing other difficulties.
During the flight, security, safety and hygiene measures were carried out to protect their health and prevent the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
Right after landing in Cam Ranh international airport in Khanh Hoa province, the passengers and crewmembers received health check-up. They were sent to concentrated quarantine sites in line with the regulations.
More flights will be arranged in the coming time to repatriate Vietnamese citizens with disadvantaged circumstances, depending on their need and quarantine capacity at home./.
