Ao Dai presented to Vietnamese women in Japan’s Kansai

The Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka has coordinated with the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Kansai region to celebrate International Women's Day (March 8) for female officials and spouses of members of Vietnamese representative agencies and women in the Vietnamese community in the region.

Speaking at the event, being held for the first time in the region, Consul General Ngo Trinh Ha expressed his desire and belief that Vietnamese women in Japan in general and Osaka in particular always be united, actively studying and working, thereby contributing to building, protecting the Fatherland and promoting the ever-growing friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan.

He affirmed that the Consulate General is the common house of the community, joining hands to make the Vietnamese community in Japan grow stronger and contribute more to help the homeland richer and stronger.

On this occasion, 50 sets of traditional long dress (ao dai) were presented to women participating in the event./.
