The competition attracted the participation of over 40 performances by amateur artists, who are long-time merchants, business owners in Moscow and postgraduates studying in the city.

During the competition, performances recalled the history and significance of September 2, 1945, as President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence proclaiming the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi.

Composer Hong Ha, a member of the Vietnam Musicians' Association and head of the jury, noted that songs registered were about love for the country and its people, emphasizing solidarity and a focus on the nation.

Ms. Thanh Tam, a long-time business owner in Moscow, said that she was very happy to participate in the competition, which is a very fun and useful playground for the Vietnamese community in Russia./.
