Exciting football tournament of overseas Vietnamese in Japan’s Tokai

FAVIJA TOKAI CUP 2024, the football tournament of the Vietnamese community studying, working and living in Tokai region, has taken place at Koshido Stadium, Nagoya City, Japan.

The annual regional tournament is organized by the Vietnam-Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA), under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan.
The tournament, which attracted a large number of overseas Vietnamese and local people to cheer, created a healthy and useful playground to help young Vietnamese people living far from home exercise and satisfy their passion for football.
It also helps overseas Vietnamese meet and exchange with each other, increasing national solidarity. At the same time, through football, it strengthens the close relationship between overseas Vietnamese and the local people.
Mr. Do Quang Ba, FAVIJA Chairman, said that the four teams with the highest achievements in this regional tournament have won tickets to attend the National Vietnamese Football Championship in Japan, which will be held at the end of November this year in the capital Tokyo./.
