FAVIJA CHAMPIONS CUP 2024 in Japan attracts 32 football teams

These teams have won the First, Second and Third prizes in nine regional tournaments in seven regions across Japan, including: Kanto, Chubu, Tokai, Kansai, Hokuriku, Chugoku and Kyushu.

The cup will be organized by the Vietnam-Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA), under the auspices of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan, the diplomatic agencies of Vietnam and Japan as well as the local authorities. The matches within the framework of the FAVIJA CHAMPIONS CUP 2024 will take place simultaneously on eight football fields at the REDSLAND Sports Complex in Saitama City.

The Organizing Committee supports nearly 1 million JPY to teams from far away to participate in the tournament and will present prizes worth about 600,000 JPY.

Mr. Do Quang Ba, FAVIJA Chairman, said that through the tournament, the organizers want to promote good images of Vietnamese people to the local people.

It will be an opportunity to strengthen the solidarity of overseas Vietnamese and further tighten the close relationship between overseas Vietnamese and the Japanese people, he emphasized./.
