The program was jointly organized by the Network of Vietnamese Intellectuals and Experts in the Czech Republic, the Vietnamese Youth and Student Association, and the group of Vietnamese doctors and physicians in the Czech Republic.

At the event, 25 doctors working at hospitals in Prague and surrounding areas, along with Vietnamese medical students in the Czech Republic, assisted over 200 Vietnamese individuals seeking healthcare advice. Clinicians provided services in a variety of health areas, including ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), cardiology, dentistry, nutrition, psychology and obstetrics. For those with more complicated needs, the doctors also provided guidance on continuing their care at specialized clinics or hospitals in the country.

In addition, the organizers also held seminars on oral hygiene, mental health care, cancer screening, obesity prevention instructions for children, spinal and neck relaxation to improve the community's knowledge in self-care.

Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh, Head of the organizing committee of the program, said that the event was held on the weekend because it is the time when the most Vietnamese people gather at the Sapa Trade Center, more convenient for those living outside Prague when they can combine work and health check-ups.

Dr. Pham Thu Thao, who actively participated in the event, said that Vietnamese people in the Czech Republic often spend more time on work and do not pay enough attention to health issues.

She hoped that this program would not only address specific concerns but also help the community improve their understanding, encouraging them to pay more attention to their own and their families' health./.
