The ASEAN Ladies' Circle (ALC) in Ankara, Turkey recently organized a working visit to Bursa province to enhance cultural understanding and strengthen relations through profound experiences of historical heritage and promote the image of ASEAN and Vietnam in the area.

The activity was chaired by the spouse of the Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong, President of ALC, with the support of the Governor’s Office of Bursa.
The delegation included the spouses of the Ambassadors of ASEAN countries in Turkey and female officials and members of the representative agencies of ASEAN countries in the country. Ambassador Do Son Hai attended as an honored guest.
In the framework of the working visit, the Ambassadors' spouses and Ambassador Do Son Hai had a meeting with Mr. Erol Ayyildiz, Governor of Bursa province on November 8.
At the meeting, Mr. Erol Ayyildiz highly appreciated the activities to strengthen the connection between the ALC and the local authorities of Turkey.
Mr. Erol Ayyildiz said that Bursa is ready to strengthen cooperation with localities of ASEAN countries in economics, cultural and historical exchanges, people-to-people connections and especially tourism.
Speaking at the working session, ALC President Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong expressed her belief that the activities to connect Bursa province with the ALC and the Embassies of ASEAN countries in Turkey will help increase connectivity and better promote the countries and people of the countries.
During the program, the ALC delegation had many activities such as working with the Bursa silk design and production center, visiting the ancient Koza Han Market, museums and some historical sites of Bursa province.
Bursa is the ancient capital of Turkey, the center of the ancient Silk Road, with many historical and cultural values. This is also the fourth largest city of the country in terms of economic development./.
