Image of Vietnam introduced in Denmark

An event was co-organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Denmark and the Denmark-Vietnam Friendship Organisation (DAVIFO) on March 20 to introduce the country of Vietnam and Vietnam-Denmark relations to teachers and students of Slotshaven High School in Holbaek.

Speaking at the event, Vietnamese Ambassador to Denmark Luong Thanh Nghi introduced the socio-economic development of Vietnam, whilst highlighting the 50-year diplomatic relations between the nation and Denmark.
He noted that the event aims to deepen mutual understanding and strengthen friendship between the two countries, especially among the young generation.
The Ambassador also welcomed a group of teachers and students from Slotshaven high school who are preparing to participate in a fact-finding trip to Vietnam in April.
According to the diplomat, young Danish people should take advantage of the strengths of the youth to explore about Vietnam because each region of the country has its own beauty and leaves deep impressions on visitors.
At the event, the participants had the opportunity to get an insight into the Vietnamese culture through a photo exhibition and short films about the Vietnamese people and landscapes and enjoy its traditional dishes./.
