International Cultural Exchange Festival held in Japan’s Okinawa

The Overseas Vietnamese Association in Okinawa, Japan has organized the first International Cultural Exchange Festival in Okinawa to strengthen solidarity among countries and territories and promote cultural exchange, build a beautiful image of the country and people of Vietnam in international friends’ eyes.

At the event, all participants enjoyed culinary and artistic exchange programs among countries and territories.
Meanwhile, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Okinawa said that this is the first time the International Cultural Exchange Festival has been organized. The event attracted the participation of many countries and territories, which are considered to have special cultures and bold identities.
The festival also attracted nearly 30 booths introducing handicrafts, tourism and cuisine of Vietnam, as well as participating countries and territories.
At the event, the participants enjoyed a special art program imbued with traditional culture such as Ao Dai performances, Karate and Vovinam performance, songs praising the love of the homeland, country and people of Vietnam, as well as Japan and other participating countries and territories.
According to the Organizing Committee, it is estimated that more than 5,000 people from the Vietnamese community in Okinawa, local people and the international community studying, working and living in Okinawa attended this festival./.
