Located more than 200km from Moscow, Vladimir is a beautiful land, preserving a centuries-old culture, the center of Russia's Golden Ring. There are nearly 20 textile and garment enterprises with nearly 2,000 Vietnamese workers and a large number of Vietnamese people living and working here.
During the meeting with Vladimir province Governor Alexander Avdeev, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi and the Governor expressed their joy at seeing that the traditional friendship between the two countries is still developing well and strongly in the context of complex changes in the world. The two sides also shared opportunities for investment cooperation in localities of the two countries.
Ambassador Khoi thanked and appreciated the attention and support of the Vladimir provincial government for the Vietnamese community, especially Vietnamese businesses in the area. He expressed his hope that the locality would continue to create favorable conditions to help people do business and live stably for a long time, contributing to the economic development of the locality and the common prosperity of Russia.
The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam always creates favorable conditions for Russian businesses to invest in Vietnam, and expressed his impression of the beauty, attractiveness and tourism potential of Vladimir.
Not only having strengths in culture and tourism, Vladimir is currently strongly developing the processing industry, mining industry and agriculture.
The Governor of Vladimir province shared about investment opportunities in the locality and proposed that Vietnamese businesses open an industrial park in Vladimir province.
During his working trip to the province on November 11 and 12, Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi and the delegation met with the Vietnamese community in Vladimir and visited Vietnamese garment businesses.
The delegation also visited and worked at BMT Company, Russia’s leading businesses in the field of industrial water and wastewater treatment, and worked with Vladkon Company, which specializes in the production of canned food. Vladkon’s Vietnamese partner is Hai Vuong Company in Khanh Hoa province. Each year, Hai Vuong Company supplies Vladkon with about 3,000 tons of tuna and oilfish./.
