Minister of Information and Communications exchanges with overseas Vietnamese in Russia

A delegation of the Ministry of Information and Communications led by Minister Nguyen Manh Hung had an exchange with Vietnamese students who are studying and researching information technology (IT) in Russia.

At the event, the Minister provided an overview of Vietnam’s position on the IT map in the world, stressing that Party General Secretary and State President To Lam has viewed digital transformation as a revolution to develop the workforce, perfect production relations, and take the country into the new era.

He answered many questions raised by the overseas Vietnamese students, mainly focusing on the current development of the information technology industry, particularly the fields of digital transformation, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and developing information technology trends in the world.

He emphasized that the Russian Federation is a good environment for training Vietnamese IT experts, and the delegation expressed their hope that the overseas Vietnamese students will study and practice harder to absorb as much knowledge as possible, thereby contributing to the development of the country's IT sector.

During the visit to the Russian Federation, Minister Nguyen Manh Hung and the delegation visited many universities and institutes of information technology, exchanged with the Russian Minister of Digital Development, Information and Mass Communications, as well as visited information security and satellite facilities of the Russian Federation./.
