At the meeting, Ms. Tran Thi Chang said that with nearly 30 years of working in the health sector in Malaysia, she has established a good relationship between the National Heart Institute of Malaysia where she is working, and major hospitals in Vietnam, such as: Cho Ray Hospital, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, Tam Duc Heart Hospital, and Hanoi Heart Hospital. Since 2012, Ms. Chang has been the bridge connecting many charity heart surgery programs and technology transfer among hospitals of Vietnam and Malaysia.

According to Ms. Chang, the Vietnamese community in Malaysia is a strong community with a lot of potential. Many of them have married Malaysians and considered Malaysia their second homeland.

As the President of the Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association, Ms. Chang hoped that in the near future, there will be more collaboration programs between Ho Chi Minh City and the Malaysia - Vietnam Friendship Association to organize art troupes to Malaysia to perform to serve overseas Vietnamese, or organize trade, cultural and tourism promotion programs of Vietnam in Malaysia.

This time, she accompanied a delegation of professors and doctors from the National Heart Institute of Malaysia to Vietnam to conduct a charity heart surgery program and discuss signing an MOU at the Tam Anh General Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City./.
