The activity aims to respond to the call of General Secretary and President To Lam, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son to support people affected by the storm No. 3.

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Vu Trung My shared that the Vietnamese community in Venezuela was deeply moved by the enormous loss of life and property caused by the storm; believed that under the leadership of the Party, Government and local authorities, especially with the tradition of solidarity and mutual love of Vietnamese people, the people of the localities will definitely soon overcome the difficulties and consequences of storm No. 3.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Venezuela will transfer the donation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to soon be delivered to the people suffering a lot of damage at home./.
