The event is part of a series of activities celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Vietnamese Women's Association in Hungary, the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 49th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30).

The organizing board hopes that contestants will understand more about the country and people of Vietnam today, which are not only beautiful, rich in tradition and national identity, but also modern and diverse. All these are expressed through the lens of Hungarian students.

The contest received a positive response and was a great success. In a short time, the contest received 87,867 posts about the contest and 364 entries from more than 50 secondary schools in Hungary. Not only Hungarian children but also many foreign students in Hungary, and Vietnamese students of second and third generations, participated in the contest.

The award ceremony of the contest will take place in Budapest on May 25, 2024./.
