Pakistan appreciates Vietnam's remarkable development

After the presentation of the credential letter, Ambassador Tuan had a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari. The President highly appreciated Vietnam's remarkable development and wished to learn from Vietnam in maintaining a high and stable economic growth rate.

He said that Pakistan will create favorable conditions for Vietnam to invest in areas such as agriculture, energy, infrastructure, information technology, mining and green technology; and suggested that the two countries promote tourism and food processing, in which Vietnam has a lot of experience and Pakistan has great potential for cooperation.

Ambassador Tuan conveyed President To Lam's regards and best wishes to the President, Government and people of Pakistan; shared the situation and foreign relations between the two countries, and affirmed that Vietnam always attaches importance to the relationship with Pakistan.

He expressed his honor to be the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Pakistan and wished to make active and effective contributions to enhancing the development of bilateral relations through promoting multifaceted cooperation, especially in trade and investment, focusing on areas where both sides have strengths such as agricultural products, fisheries, textiles and mineral exploitation.

The Ambassador pledged to do his best to promote the friendly relations between the two countries./.
