At the reception, the Deputy Minister welcomed the students and their teachers and kindly asked about their feelings on the first day they returned to the homeland of Vietnam, visited national historical and cultural relics together to learn about the history of Vietnam, and met and interacted with their peers.
She said that this was the first time the SCOV had organized a reception for a delegation of overseas Vietnamese children and teachers in RoK to visit Vietnam.
Ms. Hang expressed her hopes that this trip is not only an opportunity for the children to return, learn and experience the cultural values of the nation, but also an opportunity for them to meet and exchange with friends of the same age, together building beautiful and meaningful memories attached to the homeland, keeping them in their future life.
She also thanked the parents, teachers, and the Vietnamese Embassy in RoK for their dedicated cooperation in organizing this meaningful activity.
On behalf of the delegation, Dr. Do Ngoc Luyen, lecturer at Kwang Un University (RoK) thanked Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and the SCOV leaders for organizing a meaningful visit to their homeland for overseas Vietnamese children, teachers and parents in RoK. This has been her long-standing desire and now that desire has become truth.
"This trip back to Vietnam helps the children feel more proud of the history of the country and the people of Vietnam, and is also a preparation for more meaningful programs towards their motherland of Vietnam in the future," Dr. Do Ngoc Luyen shared./.
