Promoting community football movement among overseas Vietnamese in RoK

The Vietnam Football Association in the Republic of Korea (VFAK) and the Daejeon-based IC Food Company signed a cooperation agreement in Seoul on October 16 promoting football development among overseas Vietnamese in the country.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Republic of Korea (RoK) Vu Ho highlighted the agreement as a positive step forward and hoped it would pave the way for more such collaborations in the future.
He acknowledged IC Food's support for the Vietnamese community and the VFAK over the past years.
In his speech, Mr. Park Gyun Ik, IC Food Chairman, shared about the process of connecting with the Vietnamese community in RoK as well as the journey to have a tournament called IC Food for Vietnamese students studying in the country.
VFAK President Doan Quang Viet expressed his gratitude to both the Vietnamese Embassy and IC Food for their support, since the association was established and during its development process.
IC Food has organized the annual ICFood Football Cup for Vietnamese students in the RoK for more than 15 past years./.
