The activity is part of the ministry's project to accompany and support marriage immigrants who have returned to Vietnam to develop and become a bridge between the two countries.

A total of 10 children of Korean-Vietnamese families, including one elementary school student and nine high school students, participated in this program. Of the 10 children, seven have Korean nationality and three have dual nationality.

The children are going to visit cultural heritages, science museums, and universities. During the program, they will also experience folk games at the Korean Cultural Village in Gyeonggye province and visit Gyeongbuk Palace.

They will also be arranged to visit job centers to inform their career dreams in the future.

Vice Minister of Gender Equality and Family Shin Young-sook hopes that through the program, children of multicultural families living in Vietnam can experience Korean culture and orient their career paths in the future.

The ministry also hopes to support them to develop into talents in the future and become a connection between RoK and Vietnam./.
