The Union of Vietnamese Youth and Students in France (UEVF) solemnly held a Gala night to celebrate its 20th anniversary in Paris on November 9.

This is not only an opportunity for UEVF members to look back on the meaningful journey of the association over the past two decades, but also an opportunity to work together towards the great aspirations and ambitions of the young generation of Vietnam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Phan Bao Thuy, Vice President of the Union of Vietnamese Youth and Students in Europe and UEVF President, reviewed the important milestones of UEVF as well as the efforts and achievements that the UEVF has built over the past 20 years.
In recognition of the efforts, dedication and contributions of UEVF over the past time, Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang presented the Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Foreign Affairs to the UEVF.
The Ambassador expressed his hope that "at the age of 20, full of vitality, UEVF will continue to promote its enthusiasm to become the core force for the community movement in France, take more practical actions towards the Fatherland, and at the same time help Vietnamese people become successful in their fields of study and activities in France."
The Gala Night is also an opportunity for UEVF to express its gratitude to the senior people of Vietnamese associations and groups in France, Vietnamese representative agencies and businesses in France that have always accompanied and supported the union's activities over the past 20 years.
Established on March 26, 2004, UEVF aims to unite and help each other in life, study and research, organize activities to promote Vietnamese culture throughout France, as well as organize sports, humanitarian, social, educational, scientific activities, contributing to promoting Vietnam-France relations./.
