Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Michael Fenger, district chef of Gentofte, praised the ASG’s initiative on the social cultural exchange event in support of disabled children in the country.
Ms. Sofie Hugo, Director of the Danish Children's Support Fund, expressed her emotion and sincere gratitude to ASG and the diplomatic corps in Copenhagen because this is a meaningful humanitarian activity when all the proceeds collected from the fair would be donated to support disabled children in Denmark.
At the event, Spouse of Vietnamese Ambassador to Denmark Nguyen Thi Thu Hong and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy popularized images, cultural, handicraft and tourism products of Vietnam as well as its cuisine to international friends.
In addition, there will also be special musical performances from participating countries to promote tourism and learn about the culture, history and traditions of each country. Especially, the performance by zither artist Dieu Ly, an overseas Vietnamese in Copenhagen, received warm response from audience.
The embassy has determined cultural exchange work as one of the key tasks in 2024 in an attempt to strengthen friendship relations and people-to-people exchange./.
