Vietnam hands over ACC Chairmanship to Brunei

Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung on February 26 chaired the 265th monthly regular meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Cairo (ACC).
At the meeting, Ambassadors of ASEAN member countries in Cairo exchanged information on the situation in Egypt, the region and the world. The ACC also discussed and adopted a number of action plans of the block that are expected to be implemented in 2023.
At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Dung handed over the rotating position of Chairman of ACC to Ambassador of Brunei PG. Salimin Daud.
