Vietnam- Japan Friendship Golf Tournament 2023 held in Yamanashi

The Vietnam – Japan Friendship Golf Tournament 2023 was organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan on November 6 in Yamanashi prefecture.

The event was held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the two countries’ diplomatic relations.
The tournament was participated in by 120 golfers, who are Japanese politicians, friends, businessmen and representatives of the Embassies of Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand in Japan, members of the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan as well as members of the Vietnamese Golf Association in Japan (VGAJ).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Japan Pham Quang Hieu said that the tournament created an opportunity for people of the two countries to meet, exchange, and expand relationships, thereby enhancing mutual understanding and contributing more to the sound friendship relationship between Vietnam and Japan.
According to Ms. Vu Nhat Ha from the Vietnamese Embassy in Japan and Head of the Organizing Board, said that the tournament is expected to contribute to strengthening solidarity among the Vietnamese community in Japan while creating opportunities for enterprises of both sides to exchange and seek cooperation in various fields./.
