Vietnam’s 79th National Day celebrated in Greece

At the ceremony held on September 16, Vietnamese Ambassador to Greece Le Hong Truong reviewed major milestones in the relationship between the two countries over the past three years, notably the state visit to Vietnam by the President of Greece (May 2022), the official visit by the Greek Foreign Minister (August 2022) and many delegations at all levels from Vietnam to Greece, contributing to bringing the relationship to a new height, promoting many aspects of cooperation between the two countries and two-way trade nearly doubling in the past three years.

In addition, the first activities on Vietnamese cultural economy in Greece were organized such as the Ao Dai show, Vietnam Expo Eco Green Fair (in 2022, 2023), along with Vietnam's initiative on organizing cultural economic activities in the ASEAN group (ASEAN+ Bazaar) and open ASEAN, to promote the culture of the countries and donate to charity activities in Greece, which has resonated and become an annual activity.

At the event, participants enjoyed a special art program performed by artists from the Vietnam National Music and Dance Theater, leaving a deep impression on the audience about the country's unique national culture, and international integration while still being imbued with traditional identity./.
