The 15th Fusion Festival, organized at Holland Park on July 23-24, had seven main stages and over 40 booths displaying cultures of different communities with the attendance of hundreds of thousands of people. It is considered one of the biggest festivals in Canada.

Consul General Nguyen Quang Trung and staff of the Consulate General of Vietnam in Vancouver attended the festival and visited a Vietnamese cultural gallery.

With the support of the Consulate General of Vietnam, Vietnam’s booth was arranged with many typical products such as traditional long dress (ao dai), conical hats, brocade clothes, photos and pictures of different regions, tourist attractions, cyclos, bicycles, and parallel sentences.

In addition, at the exhibition booth, many typical Vietnamese dishes such as pho, grilled chicken, bread and rice are also introduced to visitors.

Consul General Nguyen Quang Trung welcomed the community's efforts to organize a Vietnamese cultural exhibition booth and actively participate in the festival's activities to honor the image of Vietnam in the eyes of Canadian and international friends.

Working with the Festival Organizing Committee, the Consul General suggested that the Canadian side should consider the organization of the festival in 2023 as a highlight to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Canada diplomatic relations.

This will be a program to help people of the two countries understand each other better and know how to organize cultural exchanges more and more perfectly, in line with the good comprehensive partnership between Vietnam and Canada today./.
