Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt works with Badr University’s Global Research Center

Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung on March 6 visited and worked with leaders of Badr University in Cairo (BUC) and the Global Research Center under the university.

During the working session, the two sides discussed the possibility of cooperation between BUC and Vietnamese universities and research centers for academic exchanges in fields of mutual interest, economic, social affairs and international relations.

Leaders of Badr University and the Global Research Center also expressed their desire to build close relations with the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt to promote educational cooperation between the two countries.

Founded in 2014, BUC is one of the largest private universities in Egypt with 16 universities in many fields, notably the School of Political Science, Social Sciences and Humanities, Languages and Translation, Medicine, Dentistry, Theater, Electronics and so on.

Currently, BUC has about 20,000 students. Apart from Egyptian students, the university also receives many students from a number of other African countries.

BUC’s Global Research Center is a new research center, led by experts from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of Egypt, and has close academic relations with major research centers around the world./.
