A delegation from the Vietnamese Embassy and representative agencies in France led by Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang has offered congratulations to the Lao Embassy on the 49th National Day of Laos (December 2, 1975 - 2024).

During the visit, the Vietnamese Ambassador extended his best wishes to the Party, State, and people of Laos, as well as all the staff of the Lao Embassy in France on the occasion of their National Day.
Congratulating Laos on its successes in socio-economic development and the rotating chairmanship of ASEAN, Ambassador Thang expressed his hope that the relationship between the two countries, their peoples and, especially, the embassies will continue to develop.
Through cooperation in bilateral aspects and within the framework of ASEAN, the two countries have contributed to peace, development, and stability in the region, he added.
For his part, Lao Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth agreed with his Vietnamese couterpart's assessment of the traditional friendship between the two countries, the two peoples, and their embassies.
He expressed his hope that younger generations of both countries will continue to uphold and promote the beautiful traditions established by their predecessors./.
