Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club established in Czech Republic

The Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in the Czech Republic was recently launched at the initiative of the Vietnam Culture and Arts Association in the Czech Republic.

At the launching ceremony held on September 22, delegates, friends and overseas Vietnamese were truly impressed with the Ao Dai performances of the club members.
Particularly, Ao Dai designed specifically for the club were inspired by the combination of the red flag with a yellow star of Vietnam and the flag of the Czech Republic, expressing the attachment and always looking towards the homeland of people living in the Czech Republic and expressing the desire that the two countries and people of Vietnam and the Czech Republic will become closer and closer.
Mr. Pham Gia Hau, Chairman of the Founding Council of the Miss Ao Dai Vietnam in Europe contest and Honorary Chairman of the Vietnamese Ao Dai Heritage Club in the Czech Republic, emphasized that the initiative of establishing the club aims to preserve, honor and promote the image of the Vietnamese Ao Dai in the Czech Republic.
According to Mr. Hau, after only one month of establishment and preparation for launch, the club has sewn and distributed 350 sets of Ao Dai to its members.
The club aims to complete 750 sets of Ao Dai to provide not only to members but also to people in the Vietnamese community towards the celebration of the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's National Day and the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Czech Republic in 2025.
On this occasion, the club also held its first Congress for the 2024-2029 term and elected an executive board of 33 members, and Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Hanh was voted as the Chairwoman./.
