Vietnamese community in Macau (China) joins walk for charity

The Vietnamese community in the Macau Special Administrative Region (China) on December 8 walked together to raise funds for charity in the 41st "Walk for a Million in Macau" program.

The program held by the Macau government in coordination with the Charity Fund of the "Walk for a Million in Macau" program attracted the participation of over 50,000 people.
In 2024, the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Macau is the only foreign association participating in the program, with the desire to contribute to introducing the image of the country and people of Vietnam to the government, people and other communities in Macau.
Mr. Duong Trung Duc, Chairman of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Macau, said that the event is a very meaningful activity, and also a large program to raise charity funds in Macau (China).
The members of the association enthusiastically participated with the aim of connecting the community, wishing to spread the cultural beauty and beautiful image of Vietnamese people in Macau (China). This is the second time the association has participated since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Vietnamese community in Macau has always actively participated in activities organized by the local government.
As of December 7, agencies, organizations, corporations and individuals in Macau (China) have donated over 17 million MOP (2.1 million USD) to help the underprivileged and vulnerable in society./.
