The event aims to celebrate the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day of Vietnam, and the 31st anniversary of Vietnam – Israel diplomatic relations.
At the ceremony, Vietnamese Ambassador to Israel Ly Duc Trung introduced to international friends the culinary culture in Vietnam, and reviewed the main features of the historical, geographical conditions and business environment in Vietnam.
Emphasizing Vietnam's investment promotion policy as well as the hospitality and enthusiasm of the Vietnamese people, Ambassador Trung called on Israeli and international investors to come and explore business opportunities here.
Israeli and international friends attending the event were interested in asking more about the current situation in Vietnam, its socio-economic development policies and foreign relations; highly appreciating Vietnam's development potential and expressing their desire to have the opportunity to do business in Vietnam.
At the ceremony, participants also watched documentary films about Vietnam's history of fighting for national construction and defense, natural landscapes as well as the current socio-economic development and foreign relations of Vietnam; and enjoyed traditional Vietnamese dishes.
In an interview with a reporter from the Vietnam News Agency, Dr. Yaniv Zaid, an Israeli business and communications expert, said: “I have been to Vietnam several times and have written several books on doing business in Vietnam. I love the country, the people and the natural landscape of Vietnam. I see that the Vietnamese people are very eager to learn and have a progressive spirit. Vietnam has a rapidly growing economy and I encourage Israeli entrepreneurs to come to Vietnam to seek business opportunities.”/.
