Vietnamese Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang called Vietnam’s participation in the fair as an honorary guest a meaningful event in 2023 that marks the 50th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic ties, and 10 years of the strategic partnership.

Director of Asiexpo Events Exhibition Centre, Head of the Organizing Committee of Asia Expo 2023 Jean-Pierre Gimenez said that Vietnam is a very close friend of France, especially in a special year marking the close relationship, friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Vietnamese space was set up by 11 partners operating in such spheres as cuisine, tourism, culture and martial arts, drawing large crowds of visitors.

Mr. Tang Thanh Son, Deputy Director of the Vietnamese Culture Centre in France, said that the event will create a premise for Vietnam to participate in activities in the Eurexpo exhibition centre that houses the fair in the coming time.

The Vietnamese cultural space attracted the attention of a large audience with spaces displaying and performing Vietnamese traditional musical instruments such as the monochord, zither, pipa, T'rung, erhu, drums and so on./.
