Vietnamese Embassy in Mongolia celebrates 79th National Day

Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Nguyen Tuan Thanh reviewed the historical significance of the August Revolution and National Day; the 79-year glorious journey of the nation under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; and emphasized that the great moment of September 2, 1945 opened a new era for the Vietnamese people - the era of independence, freedom and social progress.

The ambassador also highlighted the historic achievements that Vietnam has made after 38 years of innovation and international integration process, making Vietnam a dynamic country with great potential for development, open foreign relations, and a reliable partner and responsible member of the international community.

Regarding Vietnam – Mongolia relations, he emphasized that over the past 70 years, the traditional friendship between the two countries, which has been nurtured by generations of leaders and people of the two countries, has made many outstanding achievements in various fields and become a valuable asset of the two peoples.

The two sides are organizing activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations and preparing to upgrade bilateral relations to a new level in order to further promote the potential and strengths of each side commensurate with the long history of relations between the two countries.

On behalf of Mongolia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Director of the Asian Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country Khulan Ganbaatar warmly congratulated Vietnam's National Day; congratulated the Vietnamese people on the great achievements made in the process of building the country, and believed that the bilateral relations between Mongolia and Vietnam will be further expanded and developed in the coming time./.
