Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar donates to support victims of Typhoon Yagi at home

The Vietnamese Embassy in Qatar recently launched a fundraising campaign to call on officials, staff and all Vietnamese community members in Qatar, based on their capabilities and conditions, to provide the highest, fastest and most timely support to families severely affected by Typhoon Yagi.

This activity responds to the call of General Secretary and State President To Lam,; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support people affected by Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi).
In recent days, Typhoon Yagi has made landfall in the Northern provinces of Vietnam, causleaving severe damage to thousands of households.
According to a quick report from the Department of Dyke Management and Natural Disaster Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, as of 7am of September 13, the number of dead and missing people due to Typhoon No. 3 and floods in the Northern provinces increased to 336 people and 823 people injured./.
