At the event, nearly 30 stalls of Vietnamese businesses introduce traditional handicrafts, silk products, processed fruits and Vietnamese banh mi (baguette) and so on to visitors.

A special lion dance performance along with traditional performances by Vietnamese artists also attracted the attention of audience here.

Director of the Paris Fair Steven Abajoli said that the fair creates an opportunity for participating countries to introduce their traditional crafts, helping their handicraft products shine to the French public.

Vietnamese Ambassador to France Dinh Toan Thang expressed his hope that activities to promote Vietnam’s image at major fairs in France, including the Paris Fair, will help the French people understand more about Vietnamese culture, cuisine, and tourism, contributing to promoting cooperation and friendship between Vietnam and France.

The Paris Fair is the biggest one in France and this year’s event attracts the participation of 1,250 stalls, which is expected to attract about 400,000 visitors./.
