Vietnamese presentation competition launched in Taiwan (China)

The first Vietnamese presentation competition themed "I love Vietnam" was launched in Taiwan (China) on July 22.

The competition aims to promote the role of overseas Vietnamese in Taiwan (China) in developing and spreading Vietnamese language teaching and learning, and at the same time using Vietnamese as a foundation to promote Vietnamese culture and commerce, honoring the Vietnamese language in Taiwan.

Contestants are overseas Vietnamese born and raised in Taiwan and Taiwanese people learning Vietnamese.

The competition is divided into two rounds: preliminary and final. Entries participating in the competition must be sent to the organizing committee from July 22 to August 20. Contestants send video clips to register for the competition according to the QRCODE code provided by the organizing committee. Contestants can choose one of 15 readings provided by the organizing committee and record a short video presenting their readings.

The best eight works will be selected to participate in the final round at the ASEAN Taichung Square on August 27.

Each work is up to 3-4 minutes in length. Contestants can use tablets, cell phones, cameras or professional camcorders to record their videos. The work illustrations can be added to their videos. Contestants must not use any voice editing or support software.

At the final round, contestants will draw to choose one of eight poems and prose provided by the organizing committee. Each contestant will give a 3-4 minute presentation.

The total prize of the competition is up to 32,000 CNY along with a certificate of merit from the organizing committee./.
