The annual event is part of a series of cultural and tourism promotion activities organized by the Vietnamese community in New Zealand during the festival and tourism season.
The program was meticulously designed, with dance and folk songs interwoven with traditional and modern music. Performances such as dance, solos and duets will bring familiar melodies, contributing to vividly recreating the cultural space of the Vietnamese people, introducing them to international friends.
The highlight of the program was the traditional Ao Dai performance, bringing the audience back to the youthful images of Vietnam in the past and at the present.
The performance also left memorable moments in the hearts of the attendees, such as the piano solo by artist Hong Ngan with lyrical songs about Vietnam or the souvenir photo in spaces imbued with Vietnamese folk features.
At the event, the participants enjoyed traditional cuisine prepared by Vietnamese restaurants.
The event is an opportunity for Vietnamese people in New Zealand to introduce and share Vietnamese culture with local friends and international students in the capital Wellington, while also honoring the traditional values of the Vietnamese people.
The event also marked the 15th anniversary of the Vietnamese Students’ Association in Wellington, which has made many contributions to spreading the beauty of Vietnamese culture to international friends./.
