Vietnamese students in Thailand promote 'Five-Good' spirit

An event was held by the Vietnam Students Association in Thailand at King Mongkut University in Bangkok on September 21 to celebrate the 2024-2025 new academic year and meet new students.

Speaking at the event, President of the Vietnam Students Association in Thailand Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep said that the association’s ongoing role is in connecting and supporting Vietnamese students throughout Thailand. In addition to studying, they have been actively involved in the “Five-Good” student movement, volunteer activities, physical fitness and social integration.

Minister Counsellor Bui Thi Hue at the Vietnamese Embassy expressed her hope that Vietnamese students in Thailand continue to promote the tradition of learning and cultural exchange, acquire Thailand’s advanced education and then return to contribute to Vietnam’s development.

Deputy President of the Overseas Vietnamese Association in Bangkok and its vicinity Nguyen Ba Hung affirmed that the overseas Vietnamese community will always be ready to support the Vietnam Students Association in Thailand as well as Vietnamese students studying in Thailand.

Established in 2017, the Vietnam Student Association in Thailand is one of 13 overseas Vietnamese student associations under the Vietnam Student Association./.
