Vietnamese women in Japan provided mental health counseling

A talk show on mental health has been organized by the Vietnamese Women's Association of Kansai region (Japan) for the members of the overseas Vietnamese community in the country.

The program aims to provide mental health counseling, exchange discussions supporting the improvement of cultural and spiritual life for the Vietnamese community in Japan.
Speaking at the event, Kohara Junko, representative of the Higashi Osaka city authority, expressed her hopes to connect the Vietnamese community in Japan, adding that the city will make efforts to support the living conditions of the Vietnamese community, especially women.
Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ton Ngoc Hanh expressed her pleasure that the Vietnamese community in Japan is growing stronger, especially the women's associations and unions.
Le Thuong, Vice President of the Vietnamese Women's Association of Kansai region, said that the number of Vietnamese women in Japan is large and diverse, and many places do not have their own women's organizations. In some places, organizations have not gathered many members, and are only concentrated in areas with a large Vietnamese population and some women who are relatively economically stable.
