Vietnamese workers can join in RoK’s social insurance

According to the announcement on the homepage of RoK’s Social Insurance Agency (http://npsc.or.kr), RoK allows Vietnamese employees working in businesses in the country to participate in the RoK’s Social Security from January 1, 2022.

This regulation is based on the fact that Vietnam allows Korean employees working in businesses in Vietnam to participate in Vietnam’s social insurance from January 1, 2022 and as regulated in Article 126 of the RoK’s Law on Social Insurance. However, according to the Korean Social Insurance Agency, Vietnam is not in the group of countries that apply the form of one-time insurance refund when returning home./.
