Developing Tuan Chau island into a shining pearl

Tuan Chau island has now become a shining pearl on Ha Long bay heritage, making important contribution to Quang Ninh’s socio-economic development and Vietnam’s “smokeless industry”.
In his life, Ho Chi Minh President visited Tuan Chau island for three times, in the years of 1957, 1959 and 1962. He encouraged local people to develop the island into a shining pearl.
Realizing the island’s advantageous location and potential for tourism development Au Lac Limited Liability Company (or Tuan Chau Group) completed the road connecting the island and the mainland in Feb 1999, making the islanders’ long-awaited dream come true and marking an important milestone development of the island.
According to Quang Ninh newspaper, with the convenience of the connecting road, Tuan Chau Group invests trillions of VND in transport infrastructure, hotels, restaurants, world-class entertainment areas…, including Tuan Chau International Marina, the largest artificial port recognized by Vietnam Guinness Record.
To diversify tourism services, Tuan Chau Group has been investing in a lot of international-class entertainment services and tourism infrastructure. For example, 4-star Tuan Chau Holiday Villa Resort with nearly 1,000 deluxe rooms; Tuan Chau International Amusement Park; 3,000m2 ground for helicopters bringing tourists from Ha Noi to Ha Long and admiring Ha Long Bay from above, man-made sandy Paradise Beach stretching 10km…, an outdoor performance stage, Dragon and Carving Park, a golf course, etc…
