Northern locality equipped with COVID-19 prevention facilities

The Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee on April 2nd handed over three cars of international standard, including two ambulances and one disease preventive car, to the health sector for increasing the quality of medical work and preventing COVID-19.

The three cars, worth over VND9.7 billion, include modern and necessary equipment and devices for medical first aids.
The ambulances are equipped with multi-functional stretcher system, heart shock device, oxygen breathing, monitor and other first aid devices, ensuring optimal conditions in transport of patients, even severe patients. The vehicle has a negative pressure isolation compartment for effective prevention of infection in transporting COVID-19 patients.
Meanwhile, the disease preventive car has cabinets for transporting medical samples and two modern chemical spraying machines.
These facilities will be mobilized by the provincial Department of Health to immediately serve medical examination and treatment, firstly to prevent and control COVID-19./.
