Traditional art performance attracts over 1,000 international visitors

During the first five days of August 2013, more than 1,000 international visitors enjoyed the traditional art performances at the Vietnam – Japan Labour Culture Palace in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.

This is a free program organized by the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and related agencies.

According to preliminary statistics, each program attracts about 200 visitors, including tourists from South Korea, China and Japan. The program includes performances of the monochord, lithophone, and exchanges with tourists and taking photographs with artists.

In the future, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will also organize outdoors sports, calligraphy, and exhibitions of traditional instruments of Vietnam.

The implementation of the policy of developing tourism links with culture, art and sports will create a unique tourism product for tourists when coming to Ha Long.

The program will offer 15 days of free performances for tourists and local people on the evenings at the Vietnam – Japan Labour Culture Palace, and then the program will be improved and sell tickets for tourist./.
