Asian-European youth study environment in Quang Ninh province

At the workshop, representatives of Quang Ninh provincial Youth Union introduced the basic characteristics of Quang Ninh province and presented environmental pollution problems such as pollution in coal mining and production, transport pollution, daily life waste, and marine environment pollution.

Immediately after the workshop, the members of the delegation were divided into small groups to learn about community and environmental issues in Dong Trieu district.

After discussions, the delegation reported on a number of environmental issues of Dong Trieu district, such as pollution of daily life waste and transport. At the same time, the delegation also offered solutions to protect the environment and plans to implement in following days in the district.

The "Environmentally friendly Asian-European youth project" is organized by Quang Ninh provincial Youth Union and the Organization Centre for Vietnamese Youth and Teenager Exchange and Activity in Quang Ninh province on August 17-23.

In the framework of the project, 36 members from countries of Lithuania, China, Spain, Germany and Vietnam implement activities to learn about Dong Trieu district, support the community, and coordinate and exchange with local youth in a number of environment-related activities./.
