The fund has poured investment to effective models, such as buying equipment to serve production, repairing and building houses, and improving labourers’ working conditions.
Thanks to the fund, many investment projects have been put into operation, including the project to plant flowers in Hoanh Bo and Quang Yen districts, the project to plant mushrooms in Quang Yen district, the project to make fish sauce in Ha Long City, the project to reforest and develop the breeding grounds in Ba Che and Binh Lieu districts, all contributing to creating jobs for labourers.
Speaking to Quang Ninh newspaper, Pham Huy Thuong, director of the fund, said that the capital for the fund was expected to be increased in 2014, with the expansion of assistance for vocational training (VND9 million per labourer) or study for increased qualification (VND30 million per labourer)./.
